How Many Children Does Tony Dungy Have?

Dungy is married to Lauren Dungy. The couple has 11 children: 3 biological children and 8 adopted children. Their oldest son died by suicide at the age of 18, outside of Tampa in 2005.

Their biological children are Tiara, Eric, and James. Their adopted children are Jordan, Jade, Justin, Jason, Jalen, Jaden, and Jaela.

The couple has always thought that adopting kids is totally natural. She claims that adoption has always been a part of her life in an interview with Orphan Resources:

She grew up witnessing her family and church friends adopting or fostering children. Her church had talked about adoption, so Tony and she thought it was only appropriate.
